Return & Replacement Policy
It's a normal case for boibitan where customers get their products unharmed while doing online book shopping in Bangladesh. However, sometimes we may fail to fulfill our customers’ expectations; sometimes situations aren't on our side. But there is now a "Bond of Trust" between customers and boibitan, when customers buy books online in bd. so, to further ensure and encourage this "Bond of Trust" boibitan.com brings to the customers the "Happy Return" policy. Where customers can return their books only if there's something wrong (Torn, Pages missing, Wrong book/Product, etc) with them. In that case, boibitan will give you fresh products in return. We believe if our service did not meet the satisfaction of our customers we must get it back. So, we returned it with proper reasons. Thus we have an option for the "Reasonable Return" policy for online book delivery in Bangladesh.
Under the policy, If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your online book order, you may return it, when the item meets the following criteria:
- Return claim should be done within 03 Days from the delivery date.
- Return items should be unused and in their original condition having all original packaging and tags. The items should be intact and should not be tampered with and damaged anyhow.
- Eligibility for Refund/ replacement items is subject to checking and thorough inspection by Boibitan team.
- Damages due to negligence, improper handling, or Abuse of digital content such as e-books will not be applicable under our Returns Policy.
- Replacement for books is subject to the availability of current stock. If the books/product is out of stock, you will receive a full refund without any penalty.
- Please note that Online book delivery and the shipping charge will not be added to the refund orders. Both delivery and shipping charges are non-refundable.
- If your claimed item is bundled with some free promotional items such as gifts/ points/wallet money, then the free items must also be returned/refunded with the main sold items.
Conditions for returns & replacement:
If your online book ordering is received by you as damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete when delivered to you, we recommend you to contact us as per our applicable return policy. Your online book order upon received may be eligible for refund or replacement based on the order category and condition. We suggest you read the detailed terms in the relevant category below.
- Please note that your return claim will not be eligible if the returned books and items have no use for another new user.
- Eligibility to claim the return of a new book is within 3 days of receiving the items.

- Please note that there is no obligation to refund the user's money until our team approves it.

The following ways you can submit a return/replacement request to us:
- In Dhaka City, you can directly return to our Gulshan head office for your return/replacement.
- Other than Dhaka City, you have to send the returned items on your own to our office address.
- Once we pick up or get your returned item, we will verify a quality check of the returned items at our end and if a return is valid, we will take your request as per our return and refund policy whichever seems applicable.
- The refund for sold items will be processed after we have completed the evaluation of your requested returned items.
- In the case of Replacement, it is subject to the availability of books in stock. If the book is out of our stock, in that case, you will receive a full refund.
- For your concern Please note that Cash on Delivery convenience charge and the shipping charge would be omitted from your total refund amount as these are non-refundable charges.
- If you order books for Cash on Delivery (COD) when you do online book shopping, In that case, no amount to refund for an order the reason of you haven't paid for your order. You may be eligible for a refund when you order books online using Credit Card, Debit Card, Bank Transfer, or Mobile Banking.
